At Peak Vets, we believe there are a number of reasons why your pet wants to come to us for veterinary care:

  • First and foremost, we provide a friendly, caring service for your pet.
  • We are open until 9 pm weekdays.
  • We also open for routine consultations on Saturday and Sunday.
  • We provide a 24 hour a day, 365 day a year onsite emergency service. This means that if you have an emergency, all you have to do is telephone us on the normal number, and you will be seen by your normal vet at our normal surgery, without having to travel across the town to an unfamiliar vet at an unfamiliar location.
  • A qualified veterinary nurse lives on the premises so inpatients can be looked after day or night.
  • We provide the highest quality of veterinary care. We are constantly investing in new equipment, including ultrasound, ecg, xrays and laboratory equipment to ensure we can provide the best care for your pet.
  • All our nurses are registered veterinary nurses, which means they are fully tained and registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
  • All our vets and nurses undertake further education every year to continue to provide the highest standards of care. We have staff who have completed or are working towards qualifications in ophthalmology, cardiology, animal behaviour, nutrition and counselling.
  • We have off road parking.
  • We all have pets of our own, so we understand how stressful a visit to the vet can be when your pet is unwell.
  • Our nurses provide clinics (including arthritis, dental and puppy clinics amongst others) to help maintain the health of your pet throughout their life.
  • We offer a number of discounts to reduce the cost of long term medications for your pet.
  • We provide a free email reminder service to help your remember when to administer worming and flea medication for your pet.
