As you\u2019re probably aware, from our last update<\/u><\/a>, we continue to monitor the situation and respond quickly to government advice and the professional guidance from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and British Veterinary Association. However, you can always call us on 0114 250 7733 for any assistance and we will advise you on how your pets can still receive the care they need. \u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n Prescriptions<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n If you need a prescription for your pet or are collecting a repeat prescription from us, please call us as least 24-48 hours prior to collection so that we can ensure it is ready for you when you arrive and inform you of the procedure to safely collect the items.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n New video consultation service<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n We recognise that many of our clients are anxious about supporting their pet\u2019s health while movement is restricted and we\u2019re in isolation. In light of this situation, we\u2019ve recently launched a Video Consultation Service \u2013 which uses technology to provide general advice, help monitor and update treatment for pets already in our care. In the first instance we ask that you contact the practice and we will advise you of the best way to manage your request \u2013 which could be via a video consultation. Our usual consultation fee would apply \u2013 you can find out more by visiting our Video Consultation page.<\/i><\/p>\n Other useful information and guidance <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n We\u2019ve also written hints and tips and things to consider while you\u2019re at home with your pet. This includes exercise techniques for your pet, how to manage their weight and the importance of mental stimulation during this period of isolation.
