Madeleine grew up in London before going to study at Nottingham Vet School. Since graduating in 2018, Madeleine worked in mixed practice in the Peak District for a couple of years before moving to Peak vets to focus on small animals. Madeleine is currently finishing her certificate in small animal surgery which is where her main interests lie. She also regularly goes to South Yorkshire RSPCA where she loves practicing shelter medicine and making a difference to lots of animals. 

In her spare time Madeleine enjoys walking and gundog training her German Wirehaired Pointers Martha and Ethel (the latest puppy recruit) as well as climbing, running and playing Netball. She also loves cooking and never says no to making a fresh batch of sausages rolls! The rest of her pet menagerie includes a cat, leopard tortoise, leopard gecko and a few snakes to keep her and her partner James busy!
